Vet E Learning Portal

Problem Context

Vet 2 Vet is a first-of-its-kind platform for Vets, to help them gain knowledge through the learning content, expert led webinars and a community forum. Think of it as a Coursera specifically for vets by an organization with a two fold agenda - sell their products and create a community through sharing/ learning.

It will be a progressive web/ mobile application for India and the Philippines, to begin with. The vision is to scale the platform across various other markets too.

How did we solve it?

This problem context was scoped in three phases by the client. For this project scope, we concentrated on Phase 1.

1. Develop E learning Portal

Must have features include vet registration, webinars, basic learning module and FAQs
Launch in India and Philipines (only in English)

2. Refine it based on Market input

Incorporate market feedback and enhance search functionality.
In this phase, we will also integrate with other platforms like Linkedin and test multi-lingual support

3. Scale it to other Geographies

Scale content to multiple geographies and add a section for breeders.
Recommend alert intelligence.

Proposed Solution

Project Sponsor

"The team helped us understand how to create a scalable module in such a short span of time. It was a learning experience as to to how design helps us not only think about the problem now but how it will evolve in the future."

Vet

"The format is super easy to use, I like how everything is arranged and it is also easy for me to find specific subjects I need to learn about."

My role and learnings

In this project I was both the Design Lead as well as the Senior Strategist. My role was to help the business team, UX designer and UI designer anticipate needs of the vets as well as think about scaling the solution through the roadmap.

For discovery we relied on the expertise of the lead sales person of the organization and used Coursera and Udemy as our inspiration, since we did not have access to the end users. The mid-fidelity wireframes we created were then tested with vets to understand relevance and usability before we dove into creating high fidelity prototypes.

In this project, we worked very closely with developers from the start of the design stage to keep a check on feasibility, considering the short timelines. The project also helped me understand the best way to scale a solution was to keep it simple, intuitive and universal.
